The Underground

Our last full day here:( We took off this morning and checked out the National Art museum. Not really something that I was really looking forward to but I went anyway. Well there lots of old paintings there and well its not for me. I think the most exciting thing that happened when we were in there was the young women who was talking to a small class of children. She was really good with them. She was telling them about some painting with cupid in it but she was so good at keeping there attention I was almost drawn in too. That’s what happens when you have the attention span of a grade-schooler:) After the stroll the all the paintings we headed off to Harrods which is a huge place to shop for lots of expensive items. We sat on some couches that were going for 10,000 in the states. No we didn’t order them. After all that Becca and I went back to the hotel for a nap before going out some more. Oh ya Becca got sick today:( So were complete nerds we went to see HP again tonight we couldn't think of anything else to do so that was our evening entertainment. Ok we need some sleep because we'll be heading out tomorrow. Cya soon.

HARRY POTTER IN LONDON

You know we had to go see Harry Potter in London. So this theater we went to see it in is huge. You get a seat just like going to a play or a concert there all numbered and an usher takes you there. Well its great for me that Becca is so beautiful because when we got up to buy our tickets we got seats in the very middle 5mins before the movie started. We both enjoyed the movie. This place was packed with people they love there Harry Potter here:)

Awesome Day!!!

Hello everyone as you can tell thats a ring in fact thats Beccas finger. So yes I asked her to marry me. Needless to say she said YES. So here’s how it went. We got out of an awesome concert. Michael Buble is the man!!! There we were just hanging out in the lobby talking about it and then suddenly I got down on one knee and Becca turned around and the rest is history. It was sweet. She almost forgot to say yes. Well we wanted a picture so we asked this girl by us and when I told her what the picture was for she went crazy. She hugged both Becca and I. Then her and Becca looked at the ring. It must be a woman thing. So after Becca filled her in on the whole not knowing where we were going and not knowing about the Buble concert she was just so happy and gave us another round of hugs. So we do have pictures from that night but we (really me) forgot to put the memory card back in the camera before we left for the concert. The pics are on the camera but we'll need the USB cable to get it off there. When we get home I’ll put them up. So all in all today was a awesome day!!!

Buckingham Palace

I forgot to put up the post so here it is.
Today we got a little bit of a late start but thats ok with us. We were off to Buckingham Palace to check out what all the fuss is about and well its huge. Its really cool just going around checking all of these places out on your own. I would have to say this is one of the easier cities to get around. The underground is as easy as the L in chicago. After the Palace we sat in a park for a while eating and sippin on some Hot chocolate. We called it an early day to go back to the hotel to get ready for the Michael Buble concert. If you dont know who he is thats ok not a lot of people in the states do but hes pretty big here. Go check out his web site he also has about 4 songs that will play on there too. Big Ben and The Houses Of Parliament

Whats all this talk about London weather. We woke up to beautiful well not sunshine at 8:30 but clear skies. Once we set out we got our passes to the underground and we took off on our adventure. We went to check out Westminser Abby then we were off to Big Ben and The Houses of Parliament. We stopped to eat a Bella Italia an small 15 table resturant. It was so good Becca and i were so full. We enjoyed authentic Italian cuisine. Next we went off to the London Eye. Its a huge ferris wheel basically but its 443ft high. You actually get inside a clear capsule like thing and take off on a slow ride with beautiful view. Then we had a nice walk back to the hotel. Were looking at where to eat tonight so were off.

LONDON

So we arrived in London early this morning and let me tell you we were pretty tired. The flight was great and we actually were upgraded to one row behind first class! The only thing that we didn't like was the man who kept his light on the whole flight. So needless to say we didn't get any sleep. Our ride from the airport to the hotel was classic UK driving as can be. Motor cycles racing past between cars. The only way I can sum up driving over here is organized chaos. Its just crazy but very interesting to see. So we walked around for well 3hrs before our room was ready. Let me tell you this is one sweet hotel.

Chicage O'hare

Well today is the day and we’re off to London England!!! So Becca was really surprised to find out about the final destination. So we’re just chillin’ in the airport. So I asked Becca how excited she was about the trip and she said “I can’t believe it and that you kept this a secret for this long”. Yes it has been a long time . As many of you know I like to talk and Becca and I talk all the time . So this was really hard for me not telling her and having to think about stories before I told her so that I would slip and spill the beans.

Let the countdown start

Well Nov 14th is the start of something special. Thats the day that i take my wonderful girlfriend on a trip that she wont ever forget.
